Hi,

It's finally time for the next version of the Finders Course! I know that many of you have been anxiously awaiting the next time we run a version of the Finders Course, and we deeply appreciate your patience.

It still amazes me that the folks who successfully completed the first class only took from about 5 weeks to 17 weeks to enter Ongoing and Persistent Non-Symbolic Experience (O.N.E./PNSE = enlightenment, nonduality, persistent mystical and unitive consciousness, extraordinary wellbeing, and so forth).

The statistics from previous experiments can be viewed in a recording from a presentation I gave at the Society for Consciousness Studies conference at Yale University in 2015. 73% of people who completed an experiment reported Ongoing Non-Symbolic Experience. Another 26% reported temporary forms of the experience, lasting from a moment to a few weeks. Many of these people were having experiences that were solidly heading in the direction of Persistent Non-Symbolic Experience.

These results continue to amaze and excite us! I'm not aware of any program on Earth with this degree of success. It's exciting and deeply humbling to be able create yet another version of this amazing class to help people transition to extraordinary, and fundamental, wellbeing.

The level of impact this has on one's life is unimaginable, until you experience it. No description even comes close, because you truly do have to experience it.

As a reminder…the Finders Course is a 17 week online program that puts the Center for the Study of Non-Symbolic Consciousness' 10+ years of scientific research into Ongoing and Persistent Non-Symbolic Experience to the test.

Over their time in the class, very happy people get even happier (and realize how different, and incredible, PNSE-style wellbeing is from what is traditionally considered happiness). On the opposite end of the spectrum, participants who come in at the lowest point in their lives have them completely turn around.

Psychological data from course participants show consistent and dramatic increases in wellbeing, with sharp reductions in anxiety, stress, and so forth at both the middle and conclusion of the course. These effects occurred even before someone reached PNSE!

As always, we'd love to accept everyone, but the reality is that we can only support very limited numbers of people. Hopefully you'll be one of them! THE ORIGINAL IDEA BEHIND THE FINDERS COURSE

The course was designed based on two important research findings...

First, that it is extremely important, though difficult, to find the most reliable methods available to reach extraordinary wellbeing. Our research project put us in an amazing position. It provided data on what had actually worked to assist over a thousand people around the world with their transition to PNSE.

Second, that you also need to be able to determine which of these methods work best for YOU. Experimentation with the 'greatest hits' methods led to a precise order that seemed to maximize their effectiveness. This order is used in the course.

At a minimum, by the end of the program you should have successfully identified the method or methods that work best for you, right now. You should also have learned to discriminate which methods are and aren't best suited for you, both now and in the future.

We also expect you to have significant increases in wellbeing, with reductions in stress, anxiety, depression, and similar negative life experiences.

And, if you apply yourself diligently and follow the course instruction carefully, you may even transition to PNSE during or not long after the program...like most of those who came before you!

COURSE DESIGN

From the beginning, all designs of the course have been primarily methods and practice, not theory, based. During the first Finders Course the method instruction portion of the course was taught live, but recorded. This was initially done so that the participants could view it again. However, now it also provides the opportunity for future courses to mostly use the same instruction as the incredibly successful first class.

Each week we recreate the previously successful versions of the program as closely as possible using either video taken from a previous class session, or an updated version. Most of the videos used will be the actual ones from the first version of the course.

It's important to keep in mind that this is an ongoing experiment. We cannot guarantee how many times it will run, so if you want to get in, you should do so now. This is an extraordinary opportunity that may very well never be available again.

The class is divided into an initial six week section, a two week practice intensive, and a second 9 week section.

Everyone will go through the course as part of a small group. New instruction is delivered each Saturday by video, except for the first two weeks. These initial weeks have instructional sessions on Saturday and Wednesday.

The first two weeks involve 5 to 15 minute practices upon waking and just before going to sleep. Each day you must set aside one hour for additional practice, at a time of your choosing. Each session also has an additional 'one off' exercise that can take as long as an hour.

Group assignments are made in week 3, and a once or twice weekly group practice is added to the above at that time. Week 4 remains the same, but adds an additional half hour practice every day. This practice regimen remains the same through week 8.

Week 9 begins the second half of the course. The morning, evening, and one hour practices remain. Each week until the end of the course, a new technique is added. It is practiced only for that week.

WHAT'S REQUIRED...

1. You must commit to the complete the full course. We cannot afford to have people dropping out, as it may affect the success of the program for others in their small group. You must make a completely firm commitment to work through and complete the entire course.

2. You must be serious about increasing your baseline happiness level. This must be extremely important to you, and something that deeply motivates you.

3. You should have a desire and strong commitment to experience not only increased happiness, but ongoing fundamental wellbeing. Put simply, you should be focused on enlightenment, nonduality, persistent mystical experience, and so forth (Ongoing or Persistent Non-Symbolic Consciousness/Experience; O.N.E./PNSE).

4. You must be able to devote sufficient time to the course each week:

  • The course is 17 weeks long.
  • During this period, you must be able to set aside a minimum of 2 hours per day for exercises, sometimes even more. Usually this will involve one <15 minute block upon waking, one <15 minute block just before sleeping, a 1 hour block at a time of your choosing during the day, and one 30 minute block at a time of your choosing during the day. The lowest time commitment during the course will be 1 hour and 15 minutes per day. It is preferable if you can set aside even more time for the techniques.
  • In addition to the daily time commitment, you must be able to set aside 2-4 additional hours every weekend for instruction.
  • You must be able to set aside an additional 90 minutes once or twice during the week for small group and instructor interaction.


5. You must complete a series of psychological tracking measures prior to the course, at the half way point, and upon its conclusion; and agree to have your data used in our research study.

6. You must sign and return all terms and conditions and research study consent documents prior to your admission to class being finalized.

7. You must pay a $2000 enrollment fee prior to the course start date to help cover the expense of putting on the course. This is discounted from the normal fee of $2,500.

IMPORTANT NOTE

You should not have any serious psychological problems or psychiatric history that did or does require substantial medication or hospitalization. Depression is acceptable, and medication for depression is acceptable, but more serious conditions or combinations of depression with other significant psychiatric disorders are not. Suicidal-level depression is also not recommended at this time. Feel free to check with us if you're not sure if this requirement applies to you.
